چکیده

Induction cooktops are a key element in home electrification. This paper presents new use of induction cooktops, which allows the preparation infusions directly ceramic mug. It is proposed design water heater with an immersible metallic load. The dimensions load allow its embedding small vessels. Despite being smaller than conventional inductors, has specific shape that it to efficiently receive energy from and quickly heat liquid inside Its geometry consists flat disk sidewalls on edge, provides low reluctance paths for magnetic field, resulting improved transmitted power efficiency. arranged multilayer structure consisting ferromagnetic alloy Curie temperature at bottom aluminum top, confers self-detection capabilities against dangerous overheating. study proposal been carried out finite analysis model, feasibility this demonstrated through experimental results performance. Finally, heater, powered by cooktop, compared other heating systems, such as microwave kettle, promising results.

Retrofitting Conventional Electric Domestic Hot Water Heaters to Solar Water Heating Systems in Single-Family Houses—Model Validation and Optimization

System cost reductions and development of standardised plug-and-function systems are some of the most important goals for solar heating technology development. Retrofitting hot water boilers in single-family houses when installing solar collectors has the potential to significantly reduce both material and installation costs. In this study, the TRNSYS simulation models of the retrofitting solar...

Retrofitting Domestic Hot Water Heaters for Solar Water Heating Systems in Single-Family Houses in a Cold Climate: A Theoretical Analysis

One of the biggest obstacles to economic profitability of solar water heating systems is the investment cost. Retrofitting existing domestic hot water heaters when a new solar hot water system is installed can reduce both the installation and material costs. In this study, retrofitting existing water heaters for solar water heating systems in Swedish single-family houses was theoretically inves...

Optimal Scheduling Strategy for Domestic Electric Water Heaters Based on the Temperature State Priority List

With the rapid growth of thermostatically controlled loads, active power fluctuation and peak demand growth within an autonomous micro-grid become serious problems. This paper tries to suppress power fluctuation and shave peak demand for a micro-grid through optimizing domestic electric water heaters (controllable load). In this paper, domestic electric water heater models are first built to op...

Presence of thermophilic bacteria in laundry and domestic hot-water heaters.

Thermophilic bacteria resembling Thermus aquaticus were isolated from hot water taken from domestic and commercial hot-water tanks. Cold water from the same locations never yielded thermophilic bacteria, suggesting that the bacteria were growing in the tanks. In contrast to the T. aquaticus isolates from hot springs, the present isolates were rarely pigmented. In general, the hotter sources mor...

Comparative performance assessment of flat plate and evacuated tube collectors for domestic water heating systems in Kerman, Iran

This study represents a year-round energy performance of two solar water heating (SWH) systems with a 4m2 flat plate collector (FPC) and an evacuated tube collector (ETC) operating under the same weather conditions. The energy performance of the two considered systems was compared on a monthly and yearly basis. The obtained results showed that for an annual total solar insolation of ...
